Management Team

Subrata Sarker

As the CEO of Nexa Global Holdings Limited, Subrata is responsible for running all facets of the business including its global operations, evaluating new concepts, and recommending new strategies and solutions. In 2019, he co-founded Nexa, which provides an online marketplace for buyers and sellers globally across various industries. He has a proven executive management track record and over 14 years of experience driving development and growth in the manufacturing industry. Subrata graduated from the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh and currently studying MBA at the School of Business and Economics from North South University. He started his entrepreneurial journey by co-founding Leanexa Limited, which specializes in manufacturing leather and leather goods. In his free time, he likes to watch movies and also enjoys driving cars.

Shahana Akhtar

Shahana Akhtar is a Co-founder and COO at Nexa Global Holdings Limited and is responsible for the day-to-day operations and ensuring that all of the systems, resources, and people are in place to achieve the goals of the company. She studied Computer Science and Engineering at the American International University, Bangladesh, and has vast experience in supply chain management having worked with Banks and multinational organizations for 12 years. Currently, she is studying MBA at Brac University. Shahana enjoys watching movies and roaming around the city in her free time.

Minhazul Islam

Minhazul Islam is a Co-founder and CRO at Nexa Global Holdings Limited and is responsible for the company's industry standards engagements, social business collaborations, and technical community programs. He worked in different national and international IT companies after graduation for the past 15 years. Minhaz received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the Independent University, Bangladesh, where his focus was on computer networking. During his free time, he likes to explore tech industries, attend social gatherings and listen to music.

Debabrata Sarker

As a co-founder and CFO, Debabrata Sarker is responsible for all of the company'sfinancial functions, including accounting, audit, treasury, corporate finance, and investor relations. His career spans more than 15 years of varied experience in financial management, business leadership, and corporate strategy. Earlier in his career, Debabrata held senior-level positions in both investment and commercial banking companies. He is well known as a financial adviser for the stock market in Bangladesh. Debabrata holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Dhaka. In his free time, he likes to read about the stock market and listen to music.
